Dr. Nathan Degn believes that great eye care starts with a personal touch and strives to give his patients a positive experience every time they visit.
A Passionate Eye Care Provider
Dr. Degn is an optometrist who cares deeply about his patients and their ocular well-being. While he’s skilled in all facets of optometry, he especially enjoys treating ocular diseases and working with older patients. He’s proud to work alongside a team of experts at Mohave Eye Center and use advanced technology to further elevate his care.
Dr. Degn’s Experience
After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology from Utah Valley University, graduating with honors, Dr. Degn chose to pursue a career in eye care when he recalled how exciting it was to get his first pair of glasses. He then attended the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University where he achieved his Doctor of Optometry, also graduating with honors. To round out his education, Dr. Degn completed internships at Mohave Eye Center, Arizona College of Optometry, and the Eye Foundation of Utah.
After graduation, Dr. Degn worked as an eye care provider in both retail and private practices but wanted to return to a space where he could thoroughly diagnose and manage eye diseases — so he joined the Mohave Eye Center team in 2018!

Get to Know Dr. Degn
Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Degn has lived in other parts of his home state. He put down lasting roots in Kingman with his family, which includes his wife Rachel, three kids, and their pet fish and gecko. During his free time, Dr. Degn enjoys quality family time, and staying active by running, mountain biking, playing sports, and hiking. He also proudly serves his friends and neighbors at church by caring for children while their parents attend Sunday school.
